KikiGenie is a mobile app (iOS & Android) that helps families and friend groups plan real-world hangouts together. Yes - the app is free and supported by ads. You can discover activities, create unlimited hangouts and invite contacts at no cost. Kiki, the AI planner, comes with a daily allowance of free sessions, and you can watch a short ad for an extra one. There is no paid plan right now.

Open the Hangouts tab and tap New Hangout. The four-step wizard will guide you through:
You can also start from the Home screen: tap any place, activity, event or movie card to open its details, then tap Add to Hangout. Pick one of your upcoming hangouts, or choose Create New Hangout to open the wizard with that activity already added.
When you send invites, guests receive a push notification (if they have the app) or an email with a link where they can respond without installing anything. Guests can RSVP Yes or No, plus Maybe if you picked the Yes / No / Maybe reply style when creating the hangout. You can see everyone's response on the hangout detail screen. People who find your hangout through a public share link don't RSVP directly: they request to join, and their requests wait under Join Requests until you approve or decline them.
Kiki is an AI planning assistant built into the app. Tap the Kiki button on the Home screen to open Plan a Hangout. Tell Kiki what you feel like, or pick a quick idea such as "Coffee and a hike" or "Family day out", and Kiki finds real places near your location. You choose each stop and the plan builds up as you go; you can ask Kiki to change or swap anything along the way. When it looks right, tap Create hangout and the hangout wizard opens with your stops already added. You can also open any place and tap Build a hangout around this to start a plan from there.
You get a small number of free Kiki planning sessions each day, shown as a counter in the top corner of the planner. The allowance refills every 24 hours. When it runs out you'll see Need more sessions? - tap Watch ad to earn another session at no cost. There is a daily cap on sessions earned from ads.
Yes. As the hangout owner, open the hangout and tap the ⋯ menu. Edit Hangout lets you change the details, participants and activities at any time; on the last step tap Send Update so guests hear about the change. Cancel Hangout marks it cancelled and notifies everyone who was invited, while Delete Hangout removes it entirely and lets your guests know.
Open a hangout you host and tap the share icon to open Share Hangout, then Copy Link or Share it anywhere - a group chat, social media or a direct message. Anyone with the link can see the hangout and request to join. Requests appear under Join Requests on the hangout, where you can Approve or Decline each one; declined people are told by email. Links expire after 30 days, and you can revoke a link at any time from the same screen.
Use the search bar to find places, activities, ticketed events and movies now playing near you. Below it you'll see sections such as must-see attractions, AI suggestions, events, movies, your upcoming hangouts and any invitations waiting for a reply. Tap the location chip in the header to change the area you're browsing. On your first visit a short getting-started checklist walks you through the basics; you can bring it back any time from Settings → Replay app tour.
Go to Settings → Delete Account. You'll be asked to confirm with your password, or to sign in again if you use Google, Apple or Facebook. This starts a 24-hour grace period: nothing is deleted yet, and if you change your mind you can sign in and tap Cancel Deletion. After 24 hours your account and data are permanently deleted, as described in our Privacy Policy, and that cannot be undone.
Location is used only to show you relevant local activities and set a home area for hangout discovery. We do not track your real-time location in the background. Your precise location is never shared with other users — only the general area you choose is visible. Read more in our Privacy Policy.
No. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Our Privacy Policy explains in full what we collect, why, and who we share it with (our cloud providers, Firebase/Google, and AWS for app operation).
Go to Settings → Notifications. You can independently toggle Push Notifications and Email Notifications, and changes are saved immediately. You can also manage system-level notification permissions from your device settings via Settings → Notifications → System Settings.
Try these steps in order:
If the problem persists, email our support team with your device model and OS version.

You can reach your device settings directly from Settings → Notifications → System Settings inside the app.
On the login screen, tap Forgot password?, enter your email address and tap Send Reset Link. If an account exists for that address we'll email you a link to set a new password. The link works once and expires after a short time, so request a new one if it has stopped working. If you don't see the email, check your spam folder. If you signed up with Google, Apple, or Facebook there's no separate password to reset - use the same Continue with button you originally signed up with.
Our support team reads every message. We typically reply within 24–48 hours on business days.
